Caminante
A sister and two brothers, Liliana, Rafael and Francisco Herrera
share 30 years of musical experience ranging from Baja California
to the Bay Area. Using vocal harmonies, a guitar and percussion,
they sing stories of love, pain, war, joys and human dignity.
Their music, steeped in the tradition of Latin American
folklore and storytelling, evokes jazz and blues melodies.
Based in their migrant community experience, Caminanteês
music erases borders and helps us weave closer ties with
one another.

Los Nadies
Their name (the 'no ones") comes from a poem by Urguayan historian
Eduardo Galeano decrying the invisibility of the dispossessed.
Los Nadies have created one of the freshest sounds to come out
of the Bay Areaês Latin music scene in a long time, bringing
a keen mix of politics, poetry, street party and musicianship
to every performance. Their unique blend of rock, nueva trova,
South American folklore and Afro-Latin rhythms follows and
expands on the tradition of celebration and protest put forth
by musicians like Silvio Rodriguez, Manu Chao, and Santana.
